What is a Raingarden?

In a water sensitive climate, it is important to utilise our precious resources - particularly water.  Raingardens are similar to a regular home garden, however they have rainwater directed into them from paved areas or downpipes. 

This can be a simple and effective way to manage drainage and stormwater pollution.  A Raingarden can be designed and created to fit in with your overall landscape, whilst providing habitat to native fauna and reducing the risk of flooding.
